Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician

Semperit America's is searching for a Maintenance Electrician worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on all equipment installed.  Provide root cause analysis for failures, diagnosis and troubleshooting, installation of new equipment, extensions and implementation of maintenance plans and spare part management. Must have power, digital, and analog controls, and programmable logic controller (PLC) troubleshooting abilities.  Takes the lead in electro-mechanical repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation of maintenance and optimization work on the manufacturing floor and production facilities
• Implementation of maintenance work in the field of building technology
• Independent implementation of installations and assembly work
• Troubleshooting on production systems including PLC
• Keeping up with preventative maintenance schedule on all equipment
• Work with operators and management to solve issues quickly
• Coordination of external service activities
• Online troubleshooting with manufacturers on production systems
• Obtaining offers
• Other tasks as may be assigned

Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience / Other skills:

• Degree in Technical or Vocational School Desired
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Knowledge of MS-Office applications
• Trouble-shooting electrical issues as they arise and verify repairs
• Wiring codes and regulations
• Organizational skills
• Reading / Interpreting blueprints
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and flexible work as needed (self-motivated)
