FAQ - general

You can apply online for a job offer in our career portal. There you have the possibility to create an applicant account. With this account you can manage or delete your application at any time to have full control over your data. You can also apply for several jobs at the same time in your account without having to fill in data twice. Unfortunately, applications via e-mail cannot be accepted for data protection reasons.
In general, we need the following documents from you:
  • Cover letter
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Certificates of relevant degrees and training/education
  • References from previous employers
  • Proof of work permit, if applicable
You can upload these to your applicant account.
To apply, you need to create an applicant account. If you have all the necessary documents ready, the online application takes only a few minutes. Our career portal is also compatible with mobile devices.
No problem, you also have the option of submitting a proactive application.
Every job at Semperit comes with individual requirements. You will find these in the job ads. In general, a technical or business education is an advantage and relevant work experience is certainly beneficial. But of course, there are always entry-level positions for which you do not need any special technical knowledge. Due to global projects and the highly valued diversity within the company, solid English skills are also an advantage.

Learn more here. The initial selection is made by the Semperit Recruiting Team based on the application documents you submit. Depending on the position and the number of applications, there will be clarifications by phone. The next step is a personal interview with the department and the HR department, either on-site or virtually. The time frame as well as other optional steps will be explained to you in more detail in the process by the Semperit Recruiting Team.

    FAQ - Apprenticeships

    Yes, we train young talents in many apprenticeships. Find out more about apprenticeships at Semperit here .
    Yes, take the opportunity and try out your future job if you are not sure which apprenticeship profession suits you best or during your work experience days. Just get in touch with your HR contact person. We will be happy to check and give you feedback as soon as possible.
    The open apprenticeship positions are advertised from October onwards. Please apply online for your desired position. The apprenticeship always starts in September of the following year. If you would like to find out more about the process, take a look at our apprenticeship page.

    FAQ - Internships, Final theses & Traineeships

    Yes, pupils and students can gain their first work experience with us during the statutory vacation periods. The internship can last from 1 to 3 months. Starting in October, internship positions will be advertised online. Please apply online apply online for an area that interests you and indicate the period in which you would like to complete an internship with us. Please note that the selection process does not start until January - we ask for your patience until then.
    Yes, very much so. You can find all open internships or positions for final theses under our open job offers. Please apply online for an area that interests you and indicate the period in which you would like to complete an internship/thesis with us. In the case of a mandatory internship, we ask you to include confirmation of this.
    In general, Semperit offers internships and final theses for students of almost all courses of study. However, the following areas are of special interest to us:

    • Materials science
    • Engineering sciences
    • Chemistry
    • Process Engineering
    At Semperit there is a graduate trainee program in various functional areas at the respective locations such as technology, engineering or business. Current trainee programs are advertised on the career portal as open positions.
