Area Sales Manager

Semperit is an internationally-oriented group that develops, produces and sells highly specialised rubber products. Our products range from hydraulic and industrial hoses (Semperflex), conveyor belts (Sempertrans), moulded parts such as handrails (Semperform), and industrial profiles (Semperseal) through to examination, protective and surgical gloves (Sempermed). With our quality products, we have been well positioned for almost 200 years and have distributions in more than 100 countries.

 

At our location in Wimpassing (Austria) or in Germany we are looking for a highly-motivated: 

 

Area Sales Manager 

 

 

 

Job Description: 

  • Sales responsibility for defined European sales regions (DACH & Benelux)  

  • Generate own leads through cold calling, research and networking 

  • Key Account Management for existing key accounts 

  • Monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand to establish and adjust selling prices 

  • Create forecasts for existing and new products to establish sales objectives 

  • Analyzing market trends and results to set up a strategy 

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Technical or business education (university, FH, HTL)  

  • Preferably 3-5 years sales experience 

  • Experience in chemical or escalator industry is a plus 

  • MS-Office skills 

  • Independent working style, hands-on mentality and pro-active  

  • high level of self-discipline 

  • result driven and accountable 

  • Driving license B 

  • Fluent in English and German, any other foreign language would be an advantage (e.g. French or Scandinavian)  

  • Willingness to travel up to 70%

Location: 2632 Wimpassing (70 km south of Vienna) OR any other location in Germany 
 

Gross monthly salary: from EUR €3,300.00 (according to collective agreement), significant overpayment possible depending on professional qualifications and experience.
