Sempermed USA is searching for a Category Manager for our Safety division.  This position will be responsible for Safety market sales as well as the training, motivation and management of distributors, distributor representatives, and agents. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make sales calls to distributors and end users in-person, via telephone, and via e-mail, in order to achieve sales budget.
  • Provide training, in-service and ride days with reps and distributor personnel.
  • Perform Distributor/Representative relationship building activities.
  • Investigate viability and development of new markets within territory.
  • Manage account relationships.
  • Achieve sales objectives (budget).  Sales objectives and promotions will be set and measured by quarter.
  • Operate within the budgeted expenses planned for the territory.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with various departments and allied functional groups on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate on a regular basis with Corporate Accounts Manager - Safety on status of accounts and distributors.
  • Monitor and report activities of our competitors and report to Corporate Accounts Manager – Safety.
  • Complete required reports on a timely manner.
  • Attend and exhibit at company designated trade shows.
  • Join and attend local/state meetings of important industry associations and organizations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from accredited college
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • Overnight travel is required plus occasional weekend travel
