Regional Sales Manager – Form (Eastern USA and Canada)
Semperit America's is searching for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for our Semperit Engineered Applications Division. The RSM will be responsible for building new and existing business throughout the defined territory, which includes Eastern USA and Canada, and within the target customer category (Handrail customers, OEMS and Service Providers), securing orders to effectively meet objectives, ensuring the products meet market demands, customer requirements, and aligns with the strategic direction of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the sales process for customers from quotation through negotiation to closing profitable sales deals
- Delivering sales, gross margin, and customer contribution for the sales territory
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and stakeholders which create value and build transformational long-term partnerships
- Providing technical and product advice to customers which will drive their project and investment plans, improve efficiency and performance of their production assets and processes, and bring value to Semperit and customers
- Continually seeking and developing opportunities for the introduction of new products and services to customers
- Coordinating with technical team to ensure superior product performance for customers
- Sharing customer and market insights with relevant teams to better understand market requirements and improve Ssemperit offering
- Carrying out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
- Timely and thoroughly planning sales calls/visits in advance and documenting all customer activity in Salesforce.com as per business guidelines
- Managing field splicing resources within region to maximize profitability
- Managing Service Partners within region to ensure that agreements are being met and profit levels are achieved
- Maintain existing customer base and grow profitable growth with new and existing customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to bring them to the market – BD, Commercial Directors, AE/PM, R&D, regional management
- Bring Semperits brand and help build recognition while always maintaining Semperits values – marketing, communications, regional team
- Assist with customer events (fairs, virtual exhibitions, trainings, etc.) – marketing, customers, event coordinators
- Where needed, ensure new products are technical approved and aligned internally meeting customer and market requirements
- Travel is required and an integral part of this job
Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience / Other skills:
- Degree in Business, Science or Engineering preferred
- > 10 years or equivalent sales experience
- Fluent in English
