Sales Development Rep

Semperit is a manufacturer of industrial rubber and plastic products.  Founded in Vienna, Austria in 1824, we employ 7,000 people in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the US.  We operate 14 manufacturing facilities and sales offices throughout four divisions: SemperFlex, SemperTrans, SemperForm, and SemperMed.  With focus on the industrial and medical sectors, our products include hydraulic and industrial hoses, conveyor belts, escalator handrails, construction profiles, cable car rings, products for railway superstructures, and medical disposable gloves.  For over 195 years, we have been well positioned to distribute our products in more than 100 countries.


We are investing over $9 million in a new 150,000 square foot manufacturing plant in the greater Atlanta area.  This investment will create over 70 new jobs and will serve as our new North American headquarters.  We are currently recruiting for a Sales Development Representative.


Sales Development Representative


Semperit America's is searching for a Sales Development Representative who will serve as a key presales/lead generation and CRM support to regional sales team with positive impact on growth and revenue targets.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively source new sales opportunities through cold calls, emails, and creative sales hacking methods.
  • Growth hacker role with goal to increase customer base in current and newly identified target industries with positive impact on sales.
  • Generate and maintain leads. Pre-qualify leads and set up qualified lead meetings for sales.
  • Evaluate and segment new customers for appropriate customer journey and qualified lead meetings for sales.
  • Work closely with the sales team within each target market to provide pre-sales support as needed.
  • Daily management of all pre-sale’s platforms including email, web chat and phone.
  • Act as a liaison between customer, operations, and regional team (Sales, Customer Service, Product Management).
  • Generate ideas and implement digital “new ways” of selling.
  • Drive sales cycle automation, create platform for digital / online sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Manager to enhance strategic pre-sales activities, map business strengths and develop growth strategies.
  • Suggest creative ways to increase contact points with customers and target accounts.
  • Prepare customer surveys, develop and retain customer knowledge, and determine cross selling opportunities.
  • Assist with identifying, developing & optimizing growth channels to drive revenues growth.
  • Attend industry trade shows.




  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 3+ years of experience in presales/lead generation or business development
  • CRM Salesforce Administration
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-organized, team player
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
