Purpose & Key Responsibilities:

 

You are a high performing M&A professional with strong financial understanding and distinct attention to detail who has collected first experience in inhouse- or management consulting, investment banking or Big 4. Driving strategic work with a focus on M&A activities you are ready and willing to make a tangible impact on the transformation of the Semperit Group. Expert Corporate Development / M&A 

 

Job Description:

  • Drive M&A process from M&A target search/analysis to Post-Merger-Integration in close cooperation with board members and business segments
  • Develop business cases, financial valuation models, prepare analyses and presentation decks for decision-making and (supervisory-) board meetings
  • Lateral leadership of M&A project organizations, project communication, internal- and external stakeholder management
  • Preparation of transaction documents and due diligence analyses
  • Support strategy process and perform strategic analyses (megatrends, markets, competition etc.), development of strategic options as basis for the Management Board's decision making on corporate strategy
  • Contributing to- / Leading special projects and initiatives as necessary

 

Job Requirements:

  • Academic degree in Business Administration / Corporate Finance; CFA® charter is a plus
  • Strong international profile and work experience in management-/inhouse consulting, investment banking, Big4 or Corporate Development (min. 3-5 years of working experience)
  • Project management experience in the field of M&A, strategy consulting, or divestments and restructuring processes
  • Able to take a leading role in corporate development projects
  • State-of-the-art financial modelling / valuation experience
  • Self-starter and gifted communicator with the ability to self-organize in a dynamic environment, entrepreneurial can-do attitude
  • Excellent analytical skills, MS-Office skills (especially MS Excel & PowerPoint) and value-added research (CIQ, BvD, Bloomberg, …)
  • Willingness to travel
  • English is a must; German is an advantage

Gross monthly salary: from EUR €3.500,00  (in accordance with the collective labour agreement); higher rates dependent on professional qualifications and experience
