Logistics Expert
Shape our global logistics network and drive continuous improvement across international supply chains.
Your Mission
As a Logistics Expert, you will be the central point of contact for logistics topics across our international locations and ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective transportation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor international inbound and outbound shipments (land, ocean & air freight)
- Manage and collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics service providers
- Support and advise our locations across Europe, Asia, and the US
- Analyze logistics data, costs, and KPIs to identify optimization opportunities
- Support logistics tenders, supplier evaluations, and provider management
- Drive process standardization, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop alternative transportation concepts and strengthen supply chain resilience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent service levels

What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
- Experience with international transportation networks and logistics service providers
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- SAP and advanced MS Excel knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Languages
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- German and additional languages are a plus
Mobility
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
- Regular presence at our sites in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland as required

Location: 1100 Vienna
Annual gross salary: from EUR 4,790.23 (according to the collective agreement of the chemical industry, full-time)
